The first Tip-ex, which was held in May 2007, marked the return of a dedicated, annual tipper show ­ something that the tipping industry had been sorely lacking for 10 years. And by effectively recreating the essential elements of tipper shows of years gone by, it proved to be a smash hit with both exhibitors and visitors alike. Held in Harrogate, the spiritual home of tipper folk, this unique exhibition featured virtually all the major tipper industry manufacturers and service providers. TIP-ex12 takes place on 25-27 May 2012 at the Harrogate International Centre.

Tip-ex12 is set to be even bigger and better than the previous four events, which were judged to be winners by exhibitors and visitors alike. Visitors to next year’s exhibition will be able to see the latest products and services on offer in a relaxed, friendly environment, while exhibitors gain access to genuine, interested buyers. However, like previous tipper shows, Tip-ex isn’t just about business. The gala dinner is an opportunity to meet up with old friends, while there are plenty of opportunities to socialise in the many bars and restaurants or visit the top-class shops and other facilities that the beautiful Yorkshire spa town has to offer.
